Overview

The Automotive Finance Manager Assistant performs a wide range of administrative and office support duties for the Sales Management team. In addition, helps with inventory tracking, record keeping, reporting and processing of deals in addition to managing his or her supervisor's calendar. 
 
Work Schedule is listed below and is subject to change if necessary:
Monday through Friday – 40 hours per week.
Must be available on the last day of the month and following day (first day of the month) even if it is a Saturday.


The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of Automotive Sales or Finance experience in a similar position. Candidates must have a pleasant and helpful personality, strong administrative and organizational skills, good computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous automotive dealership experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Helps with vehicle inventory control and maintains accurate records.
  • Call Banks for CITs.
  • Verify and ensure deals are clear and clean for processing.
  • Submit deals to business office for timely processing.
  • Call on payoff's and verifying insurance on the car the customer is purchasing.
  • Manages inbound communication, such as phone calls and messages, e-mails, and letters.
  • Provides clerical support, such as typing, filing, copying, data entry, and record keeping.
  • Manages all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, reports, etc.) when needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Automotive Sales or Finance experience preferred.
  • One year of relevant experience Preferred.
  • Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor.
  • Highly professional and dependable.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
  • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent telephone skills.
  • Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
